T-mobile just did a 2.00 credit check on my account (I paid by debit for the delivery). I ordered on 21st October with the T-mobile account, my order status is still 'ready to despatch'. What does it all mean?

Really to gain understanding about peoples experience with ordering the N900 and also to check how the deliveries are going. My query is this I am trying to avoid using MPD as lots people have advised against it.
Can anybody advise when the likes of VODAFONE Store will receive the fone or any other u.k retailer like mobiles.co.uj and or dialaphone?

Looks like its all starting to sort itself out...
Great to hear that ninhaboxergirl!
I don't even have that much anger towards MPD anymore!
I must say I'm glad that mine's coming from Banbury, not Reading. Although its nowhere near me (and Reading is far closer), Banbury told me I'd have it tomorrow and it WILL be shipped today. Reading said they'll try and ship today, if not, next week... That's not good!

if your told it will be shipped and arrive tomorrow and it doesnt, you will be infuriated.
If you told in the next few days and it is there tomorrow, well there ya go, much better scenario

Just had 'the call' from MPD in Southampton to re-take payment details (due to the >30 day lapse)
Vodafone PAYG / 18th September - status now: 'Ready to dispatch'
Guy on the phone said should be with me tomorrow - subject to Royal Mail - Finally some good news!
