Which browser is better for the N900, the Firefox mobile or the factory pre-installed browser on the N900?

right now i would say the preinstalled, but fennec is getting better and better. If you mind waiting a little more for a final release.

but why not install it and find out for yourself? it has some nice features to offer with the left and right panes ...

I like the pre-installed one wayyy better right now. I felt that fennec was too complicated.

I think Ovi maps is okay but since it's not the final release yet so it's still kind of slow. Anyone know when the final version of Ovi Maps will be out?

I think OVI Maps pretty much Blows. There is so little functionality to it and it is far from intuitive.

where do you get the 'meamo-geolocation' plugin from?

100% with you on that. Coming from a Blackberry with Google Maps to Ovi Maps is really hard

It's in either the extras-testing or the extras-devel software catalogs.
