for msn you need to install account-plugin-butterfly from extra-testing.

(warning: software is extra-testing is still in a beta stage and not ready for end users. it can be buggy and even cause data loss. it is not recommended for users unfamiliar with maemo)

that said, the msn pluggin seems relatively stable. have been using it for a week or so. for other services, i would like to find out how to enable them too.

I am trying to login to msn network but it doesn't sign in. I tried telepathy-butterfly aMSN and pidgin, all have the same issue. Pidgin gave me a "read error" back after trying to connect. I suppose something is blocking it. Any ideas?

Wrong forum section, needs to be moved to N900

Sounds like the MSN servers are down?

Is anyone on MSN on their computer?

Hey guys, im not sure if this has been answered before...And I have used search to find the answer, but to no avail...

Is there any program to download that one can get Yahoo and Msn Messenger?? People say use pidgin, but use at your own risk...Anything that I would not have to worry about it bricking my phone??

I think you can install telepathy-extras for AIM support and accounts-plugin-butterfly for MSN support for integration into "Conversations"

I also have pidgin installed without problems though I don't know if that in extras or extras-devel
