epage, for me the problem appears to be with voice.google.com/m.
From the main website I can place calls without any issues, but from the mobile version I'm not getting anything (and I noticed that Dialcentral seemed to be using the mobile version). I get the same problem whether using my mobile number or gizmo.
I just tried them back-to-back from then900's browser and verified that (for me at least) the normal gvoice site is fine, mobile isn't.

Just ran across pygooglevoice, it might be worth a glance.
Also, Add Google Voice to Empathy.

That doesn't really add GoogleVoice support to telepathy.

As for the libraries, it shows parts of the API I wasn't aware of. Overall the API is good, I just don't like the implementation

EDIT: I think it might even have a bug...
NM I found the GALX hack

OK, I just started looking myself and figured I'd pass those along. I'm pretty useless when it comes to python, but glad that there's maybe something good there for ya.
...GALX hack?
Not to derail, but is there anything in particular you'd like for me to try out in TheOneRing? I know it's early yet, but I'm happy to try out whatever pieces you have ready.

There was a change to the google login process that required a token called "GALX". This was a nasty issue because it was a problem for everyone but me. It took a while to resolve.

I would say The One Ring is still a bit early for any kind of testing. I'm slowly building up a hybrid manual / automated test. I'm just moving on to contacts before going for the hard stuff, texting and calls.

jiiv, you're really on to something here. just as you said, for me too, the regular gv site works - but calls placed from the mobile site all of a sudden won't. thanks!

This is exactly the problem. I have addressed the issue in the google voice forums, please anyone who is experiencing the same problem report it here:

There might be issues with it right now. As soon as I get to everyone's login problem (which stealing code from pygooglevoice might help) I'll look into this.
