Will it coexist with WiFi on?

Mine makes noise from the WiFi on my Laptop in my BT headset on the N900 even when the N900 WiFi is off. That's not good!

I can use my BT headset if there is not WiFi in the area.

Does the FW address that?

I have had no problems with wifi/BT interference. I use wifi for connections at home and BT works fine to my headset. But I have none on Wk43 FW, so you may have other problems....

I know this does not make sense, but turn on WiFi and see if it makes a difference? Just curious.

Hi les_garden!

I can confirm severe bluetooth problems with a car bluetooth speaker that I bought today. The sound is so bad that one can hardly hear what the other person is saying. There is also a lot of acoustic feedback going on. This car speaker i a SE product (HCB-108), but it should work anyway and it does with earlier Nokia phones. So, there is definetly something terribly wrong with the bluetooth support in the N900.
I hope this is mainly just a software issue.

Make sure you pile onto the bug reports on Bluetooth at

Vote for all the Bluetooth bugs and maybe we'll get this fixed ASAP.

You can do a keywork search for bluetooth

I got the free nokia bt headset and it cuts out all the time, at least it's keeping my ears warm

I keep thinking it's switched itself off and have to check i'm not blasting out music.

I also have a tiny jabra earpiece and will try with that when i find it

car bluetooth (lexus IS 250 and lexus RX400h): will not disconnect automatically (ie. i leave the car, n900 still thinks it's connected). will also sometimes stay "connected" but isn't really
nokia bh-503: works great for a2dp streaming, sometimes when i pick up a call even though the phone has the bt set connected, i have to transfer call to phone, then back to headset, to hear other person

nokia bh-103: same issues as the bh-503

Interesting that - sounds remarkably the same as my experience with a CK-7 car kit (Yes it wa professionally fitted).
