The existing UK firmware has been added to the list of firmware images on tablets-dev.nokia.com!

Those UK users who re-flashed using the generic image might consider re-flashing with the UK version!

Yeay!

Thanks to dwilms at Nokia for fixing the problem

This is not new firmware, rather the firmware that was shipped on devices bought in the UK

I've been using my 3 Sim card here in the UK since I got the phone.

My sim card is about 5 years old though.

I use an ALS/line-2 service from Orange UK.. Although the phone can't tell which of my two numbers was called by a remote caller, and I can't make calls from my 2nd number this is much more than the N900 I tested prior to release.. on that handset, calls made to my 2nd line number just received an unavailable tone..

I wonder if this is a UK specific thing, since Orange UK are one of the few telcos that offer the service (although only to business users now I believe)

I've not yet had cause to reflash my device, but I would've been loathed to loose the line-2 support if using the generic version.. The file size is different and the installed package list is different.. I'll put together a list

Yup, no issues at all. In fact the N900 shows better reception than my N97.

No MMS though or Video calls which is a shame since they are included in my price plan and I did use them before!
