Maybe you know how to charge the phone without any outside devices and any cords or connectors going to the device?
Usb connector and hands free connectors should be bended so, cable would go up and you could hold your phone normally while charging and listening music.
No I am not a designer! I know that it was impossible to make those holes somewhere else but it is easy to make connectors banded.

I am left handed and the pen slot is on the wrong side!

I think it would be cool if we had some kind of benders. I want to buy them but could not find any.
