is there a way to stop flash from loading automatically on n900? Having my n900 load up flash is great but really slows down performance. Maybe having flash show up as box and when clicked on have it load would help since it wont bog down the whole system.

Not tested, but in theory only one could block all flash using Adblock and then disable the rule/addon when needed? I am aware of the limited usefulness of the idea, but no flash is not that bad.

You can simply disable flash plugin.

OP was looking something like Flashblock, but I don't know if it's possible to get it working.

would be nice to have for when you want to quickly look up something on a site without having to wait for the flash to load, or if your in a bad reception area and only have edge instead of 3g and you need to look up something.

a quick keyboard enable or disable flash or click to enable flash item short key would be handy.

flash on demand is a great feature, I remember there was one on N810 plug-in, aftre page loaded, one click on it will download/start playing flash. Hope it's coming to N900 soon.

I tried to install flashblock script for greasemonkey on n900 with no success, looking forward to it.
My N800 has a cool script that shows a play button on every flash, so it plays only what I want. Dont remember if this is flashblock...

Those of you wanting flashblock can try out adflashblock-css, which combines flashblocking and adblocking done through CSS: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...977#post515977
