Ok, I tried it. I selected my carrier (T-Mobile Germany) and I could establish a connection to the internet. But I recognized something strange:
On my netbook I do have a different public IP-adress as on the N900 itself.
I don't mind. It works

ubuntu works great, i havnt tried xp, but vista.... i just cant get to work, probably have to use pc suite, which i cant be bothered with
