I have the song Die Without You from the album Full Moon by Brandy & Ray J. OMG! It imported porn for the cover art! How do I change it? Is there a way to create playlists? Most of mine are singles. Other than that, nice work! Thanks!

LOL.

Well, just copy the correct cover image in place for the downloaded one. Cover image should be in covers directory on your mmc. Also, delete the .cache.tga file with the same file name. cover image should be in jpg format and less than 200x200 pixels.

About the playlists: I'm hoping to be able to include them, but it will take a bit of time.

HI Konttori,

I have several Broadway Musical CD's. The order of the songs in the album is important. With other MP3 players I have preceded the filenames with 2 numbers,
01.Song1
02.Song2
etc,

This will keep them in the proper order. Will it be possible for you to sort on filename (or Title)?

Thank you!

@Joe:

Indeed, a good point. I will add sorting for the songs albums as well. Would it be the best if I added track # as the first thing in the song name and then sorted by song name? I think that should cover all bases, shouldn't it? If I have the time today, I will do it today, otherwise, monday's the day.

As an announcement, songs that contain covert artwork are not working on RC1 or RC2. I am working on adding support for those, but in the meanwhile, don't be surprised if such songs crash your player.

Hi Konttori,

Using track number will work. Just make sure that you use 2 digit track numbers, 01, 02, ...09,10.etc. 2 digits will ensure proper sort.

Thanks again!

hey Konttori!
Great app!
Tested the RC2 seems to work fine, also I found the sound quality seemed to improve when playing via UKMP.

One thing I would have liked to see and maybe you are still working on it or thinking about it, but visualisations, track controls, options to customise size of albums, whether they are 4 x 3, 3 x 3 (bigger) or horizontal thumnailing at the bottom and could have visualisations at the top or menu options or track listing info.

Just an idea, but don't know how well visualisations would work with the Nokia's processing power and graphics.

I use Winamp media player on my computers so I tend to mess around with visualisations and beat syncing alot to create smooth VJ looking visuals.
Might be a nice addition to your excellent player

Hi Adam_n800:

Great to hear that it works for you and you like it. I am looking for good ideas about the future improvements and visualizations are definately semi-high on the implementation list. However, as they tend to stress the cpu a bit and one would have to keep the lcd active all the time, the battery would drain pretty quickly, thus I've given those quite low priority for the time being.

Track controls are there on the dpad and volume is on the + and - buttons. Album size for the main view might be configurable, but it's basically either the 4x3 layout or alternative would be 3x2 layout. I'll have a look in some future release to see if 3x2 would make sense, but for now, I think 4x3 is pretty ideal.

I initially started the project with horizontal one line (6x1) layout and the song data on top of the albums. I could pretty easily support also that mode, but I think that browsing the albums is much better in the current way. I'm always interested if you have ideas on how that kind of layout would be better.

Just noticed that the version I launched yesterday didn't work properly on 770. A 770 compatible version has now also been added:
