Is there any anti-theft software for Maemo ?If not then please anyone make a software.I need it badly.Symbian s60 has many softwares like this. For example -- http://www.symbianguru.com/phone-gua...60-3-60-5.html

Key Features:
Remote mobile lock and unlock with lock SMS
Method of software launch selection
Two Alarm numbers available
GPS tracking option available
GPS tracking option can be turned on and off with the help of SMS message
Phone Guardian becomes active (locks the mobile, emits the siren) when a different SIM card is inserted or on lock SMS
Operator specific and location information (Now GPS coordinates available) is automatically sent to the number specified, including the number of SIM, IMSI and CellID numbers. This information can now be obtained at any time.
Siren option can be put on and off, also remotely using SMS
Uninstall is possible only with the right password
Phone lock is independent from phone restart
The software is fully compatible with mobile phones Series 60.5

Does your phone get stolen often? Have you successfully recovered a stolen phone using the above software?

As soon as I get my n900 - if there will not yet be such a software - I will definitely write an app to achieve just this. It will be a daemon running in the background checking for a single character in the web domain somewhere. if your n900 gets stolen, you can set it to something else then 0 to activate the tracking. It will send GPS info over the internet and SMS as well as pictures taken using the front camera - possibly to grab a picture of the culprit. You will also be able to instruct it to upload specific data at this point at least to save important data if you don't recover the phone, and gain ssh access.

At least this is what I'm planning. I can only start to go into details when I finally get the phone.
