Sheesh! I feel nausous just looking at the stills, let alone watching the video. My n900 is near enough to the scren to see that - I closed the page quickly.

I think I'd rather have real porn (and THAT'S saying something!)

Darn, the pictures don't show how the USB port is attached.

I took mine apart after day 2 with it...USB port came off circuit board when removing power cable.

Its soldered by (4) 1mm x 1mm sq. soldering points, or "legs" to the board. Very little solder is used. There are (2) larger 2mm x 2mm sq. in the center of the port, which are held in by what looks like "epoxy" (red/clay color) to the board as well? The USB contacts also seem to be "epoxied" on. There is nothing else which holds the USB port in place, unless you are lucky enough to have the edge of the metal part touching the cutout of the case.

Whatever you do, do NOT "wiggle" the plug free...straight in, straight out. My data cable was overly tight fitting, and the crimped seam came apart at the top of the USB receptacle. Its not soldered closed at all, and the plastic connector was floating around inside the metal part of the port.

Don't worry, it looks like the disassembly was done before the start of the video, so he's lovingly putting it back together again.

Think more like the giving birth/sex-ed video they showed us in school - you'll still need to cover both n900 camera lenses in-case it's not ready for that video yet.
Maybe show him some pictures of usb cables and ports before explaining the "bits and the bytes".
