It is really pitiful the N900 can't even sync with your Evolution calendar. I would understand if there are missing phone features because "this is not a phone". Can't even setup different alarm times except for the preset times... But for you to not be able to sync with your calendars and other important appointments, I say this is a mere premature ejaculation.

It does not solve the problem. Maemo OS is almost 5 years old OS and is missing major programs that are common for use in both phones and "desktop computers". Android OS just turned 2 yrs old back in November yet, they're never forgot to include calender sync with their device.... Someone need to say to the Nokia Maemo team...

And again... Maemo 5 is a complete rebuild. It's totally new. OS2005-OS2008 need not apply.

Never heard of Evolution. Sync works great with corporate Exchange Server (at least for me, works flawlessly so far), looks like Nokia PC Suite supports Outlook and Lotus, better than the iphone i think.

Is there a FAQ that states what the N900 can and cannot sync with? Just curious.

Of course it does. You use syncevolution to sync both evolution and the n900 to funambol. Works fine.
