I am curious about this as well. Could Nokia give us a firmware update for the GSM chip in the n900? I have read about GSM radios that have the ability to support other frequencies through a different firmware. I am on ATT and do not want to switch to T-Mobile because I have poor coverage. We need to know what GSM chip is in the n900 and then figure out whether or not we can update it. I hope someone will be able to figure this out!
