Okay, I've had an invitation to upload to extras-devel for about a week now but I don't know how to do a source package. I tried to follow wiki's instructions but I think the wiki should be more detailed since it doesn't even tell what kind of files do you need (for example should the source be compressed or not) in your folder and in what kind of directories.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with packaging.

I found this yesterday when packaging up my code. About as good a walk through as I could ask for.

I followed those instructions and I now have files:
cutempc_0.1.4-1.diff.gz
cutempc_0.1.4-1.dsc
cutempc_0.1.4-1_source.changes
cutempc_0.1.4.orig.tar.gz

So how do I test that the package is ok?

Is it supposed to take "forever" after I click the "Move files to autobuilder queue" button? Seems like nothing is happening..

Something is fubar with the builder at the moment (another thing Nokia really needs to address). I have been trying to look t the failure logs for a build I am doing for over an hour now. Just keeps clocking.

I managed to upload libmpd to extras-devel but when I install it from there to my device, I can't find the installed files anywhere? That means it doesn't work also... Why does this have to be so difficult
