Neither of these seem to be possible, no. The only suggestion I've seen so far is to just leave the apps open at the view you want.

I wonder if it´s possible to make the shortcut to the mail-app pop directly into my MFE account. ( I only have this mail account set up on my N900, and therefore it would be nice to skip the step of clicking on the "MFE row" when launching the mail app.
Next question. when launching calendar it gets me into "agenda"-view.
I would like it to go into week or month view by default - is it possible?
