@arctine:
open the dosbox.conf file in a texteditor, it's all there, self-explanatory.
Hey thanks SubCore.

So that also works on a N900 as well?

If I would have known anyone was going to read that post, I would have typed it out better than what I did.

I have dosbox running, added few lines to mount C: (I don't think it worked)
I can't use the ":" key because I can't change the layout.
Where do I have to copy rover.sys?
How can I make it appear in Z: drive?
Dosbox always starts with Z:, and I can't change that, even if i change the config file by adding CD C: in the config file.

The mouse pointer will lag and not follow your touches if your cycles setting is set anywhere near max. Cut the cycles down so dosbox only uses 50% cpu and the mouse should follow your stylus.

Also, the mouse will 'lose sync' and no-longer track if you tap beyond the dosbox display window, in the current build.

---

The Z: drive is reserved for DOSBox internal programs. To mount another drive IN DOSBox use
Code:
mount D: /home/user/MyDocs/dos
or similar, depending where you store your dos programs. You can add this command to the end of your DOSBox config file.

The rover.sys should be stored somewhere visible to DOSBox, for example where you mounted the D: drive. You can also add the keyb command to your dosbox config to automatically run it, (or any other DOS command.)

ArnimS, did that.
For some reason, the mount command doesn't work,
I even copied and pasted your actual code and created a folder called dos, and still doesn't like me.
I verified the config file in home/user/.dosbox and it had all the changes.

I have dosbox installed on my N900 - I understand the fact i have to mount a drive, but not sure where, how if or what. I have my original cannon fodder CD here and would love to know - in leymans terms on how to get it to play.

Please someone help - I have spent probably 3 hours looking through the dosbox posts, but most just have little conf problems, I cant even get that far.

Help.

I still can't figure it out even with all the other topic

I really would like to see a tutorial on this.

atm I'm stuck with the whole keyboard thingy. I know the existance of the keyboard file (sys file) but have no idea where or how to put in in the right directory. Using the xterminal and some other editor to edit the dosbox.conf, it's all to confusing to me.

So if anyone can make a tutorial on this, I'll be greatfull !!

Can anyone help me with getting a game to run? I've read around but haven't found anything useful. I've been able to mount the drive and change the keyboard layout. However, every time I go to install a game, it either says that it needs Windows to install or says that files are missing. I have also tried installing the game on my computer and then copying the files across, but that didn't work either. Much help would be greatly appreciated.

What games are you trying to play. I've tried Dungeon Keeper, Simtower and Theme Hospital but no avail.
