Put wifi-switcher_0.0.3_armel.deb in MyDocs with usb storage mode.

Install rootsh

X-terminal

sudo gainroot

cd MyDocs

dpkg -i wifi-switcher_0.0.3_armel.deb

You need to enable extras-testing to see this - version 0.0.5 is available now.

you need to be root for this commands.
just install "rootsh" and type "sudo gainroot" before trying ifup/ifdown

Have you used this? Is it stable and does it really impact on battery life if you dont have the wifi-bug?

just installed this. How do you access it? I cant see an icon for it anywhere.

it's in Control Panel applet

closing the connection in this program, already do not have to restart the phone in order to extend the life of the battery .. Trying to connect bypassing the program, not even visible wireless networks ...
