You forgot about all the Puking Apps and Pooping Apps and All the other useless stuff people have put together to try to get 99 cents out of your Bank Account . . .

Dont get me wrong they are plenty of REALLY Good iPhone Apps out their .... Tweet Deck comes to mind . . .
But 100,000 - I doubt more than a hundred that you personally would find useful

Honestly . . . all those million and one iPhone Apps are actually mindless pieces of garbage...
Where - locates QUICKLY cheapest gas, local weather, coffee shops, location aware appThat's my 12. The rest, not important. Not one fart app has ever landed onto my iPhone - I can go to Taco Bell for that.
Twitterriffic - Witter, Mauku are both lacking user experience/UI
Tilt Shift Gen - basically an image editor, would be great matched up with a quality 5mp camera (take the hint Nokia)
Snapture - just goes to show that Apple doesn't do it all well, Snapture is what the Photo app should have been
Pocket Google Analytics - screw logging in each time via browser, supports multiple accounts, one finger can drive this app
Epicurious - I cook, love new ideas, quickly like the access
Bento - I like being organized, with full access to my contacts, copy/paste and scheduling
textPlus - Free text messaging, also on Android; not on Maemo
AS3 Reference - I'm a Flash/Flex dev and the website for Adobe docs is sloooow sometimes, this helps me avoid that
Bing - Hate on Microsoft all you want, their search app is what great UX/UI is all about - and it works darn well
CNN - Video, local news, world news, easier to navigate than their site (which needs fixing in a few places)
Touchgrind - multiple touch skateboarding app - can't be done (2 feet on skateboard, 2 fingers used in game) on the N900
Air Sharing - Screw slow bluetooth sharing, screw having to carry around a cable... wifi transfer of files, self-hosted WebDAV solution that's easy to use - surprised nobody has recreated this one on the N900
