hi everybody, hope you are all well.

i would like somebody who has done this for real to confirm if the N900 with the latest MfE package synchronises the following with exchange 2003 (MUST be 2003, not 2007)

a) mail WITH folders (i.e. user defined folders asides from the inbox - not fussed about public folders)

b) contacts

c) calendar

d) to do list

e) notes

would be much appreciated - thanks!

Yes, I synchronise mail (Inbox plus several other folders - use mfefolders to select which to synch), contacts, calendar and to-do list. Notes don't seem to be synchronising though.

The wiki is written by actual users (people who own and use the n900) and it's not a copy from marketing material.

In the wiki there is a table summarising your questions - here is a direct link: http://wiki.maemo.org/Mail_for_Excha...or_the_N900.3F

Hi,

Is mfefolders supposed to take a long time to start. Mine opens after 30 seconds but closes again after about 30 seconds before i can finish unchecking all the hundreds of folders.

Any advise please

Shouldn't take long, no. When I run it, I get a popup message advising closing the Mail app and disabling synchronisation, then it displays the list of folders straight-away (no more than a couple of seconds). I only have 20-30 folders though, so it may depend on numbers.

This is with MfEfolders v0.23

In that case, you'd best try contacting the author. The web page for the project is at https://garage.maemo.org/projects/mfefolders/ - either file a bug there, or email the developer directly.
