It's not the thickness that bothers me, it's the fact that they didn't include a lens cover.

Knowing the people in this community, someone will probably manufacture their own far better cover for the MUGEN battery than the one that comes with it.

Mugen emailed me recently saying their battery was being delayed:
Maybe they realized the battery door they had was hideous?
We are re-working the HLI-N900XL battery door to make it better and expect to receive first shipment on March 15.
