I live in Wenzhou but I really want to visit Chengdu. I've been here 10 months, teaching English. Need a change of scenery.

Ah thats great, I'm hearing a lot about Xi'an. Definitely need to see the Warriors sometime soon. I've decided I'll probably be going to Beijing next Sunday (7th) just for a couple days and will go to Hainan on the 21st. Chengdu is DEFINITELY on my list for cities to live in and will probably be my next destination. maybe you can help me land a university/HS teaching job there in the near future? :P
Tianjin, which province is that? Have you been to Wenzhou?

Sorry I haven't replied earlier as I was blocked for a long long while then was detained for a week in the notorious Evin prison...

I'm using ultrasurf at the moment to get anywhere on the net.

I need to get to facebook, twitter, and other web2.0 services to be able to get info out and the likes of BBC and others to receive info.

unfortunately I'm not that tech savvy, just an end user of all the facilities so I might actually need to beg one of the wiz-es on the site to get an app going for this (if that means anything at all)

This works for me. Be sure to thank user ph5 for his hard work. the app is the only thing out there now (AFAIK) for the N900 if you want to get around censorship. website proxies suck as I'm sure you're well aware. if you need help setting it up or adding bridge relays let me know.
