I am trying to play .vob file in my N900 i downloaded kmplayer but its playing only video and no audio. i downloaded mplayer command line only version but dunno how to use command line version. the default media player says audio codec not found?

any links to download these codecs will be appreciated thanks.

kmplayer by default uses same media engine, gstreamer, to play the file. So that's why you got no audio in kmplayer and the audio codec message in the default player.
After you have installed mplayer, you can go back to kmplayer and select from the 'Select Player' menu, MPlayer to play the video file.
