looks like you are not in the right folder.
When you put the files in Download, try
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/hildon-home_0.3.58+0m5_armel.deb
If you dont want to write so much, use the TAB button in X Terminal like this :
dpkg -i /h[TAB]u[TAB]M[TAB].... should give you dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/.......

Edit: I tried installing 1.12 and 1.13. both are installed but when try the hildon home, it says operation failed or unable to update 'hildon-home' incompatible application package.
