Developping in XUL is similar to web, but these are really local apps 
here 2 new mini-applications based on XULRunner (it means that you need to install first Firefox Mobile -Fennec):
JoliStopwatch: a simple stopwatch
JoliTimer: a timer (hourglass) with preset manager
To install them, simply download the .deb files, and open them with the file manager.
For those interrested by the creation of XULRunner applications on Maemo, some related posts in my blog give some technical infos, and JoliStopwatch can be considered as a 'Hello World' because it is really simple.
