I sent my phone to Nokia after I called to complain that my phone wasn't getting the proper volume when having a conversation. After receiving the phone they didn't even check the speaker but replaced my micro usb connection on the phone. When I sent it in they had me remove the battery cover and battery and just send in the phone at a ups location with a prepaid postage.

So when I receive my phone I am angered that they didn't replace the speaker in the earpiece nor explore to see if anything was wrong. They did a systems check and found everything to be in working order and they flashed the phone back to original state and latest firmware appropriate for a North American user in Chicago.

The whole point is that with the same battery I have gone a whole day about 9am to 8pm with Gtalk, Skype, Ovi, and Jabber for Facebook all running and using throughout the day. I also had phone conversations and browsed the internet on 3g and wifi. Previously my battery was dead within 4-6 hours. The fact that the battery works better and it didn't change leads me to believe there might just be some truth to the connections issues concerning the device.

The issue might be, and I don't know anything, is that maybe the connection issue with the microusb might be related to it not properly charging the device which leads to lower battery performance. Pics of the proof coming. I am using N900 to write this message. I have to reboot my phone.

Please share your input and tell me if I am reaching too far here.

P.S. What I meant was that I had the reciept for the service they performed when I said I have proof.

It may be useful if you posted screenshots from batteryeye or batterygraph apps. That may give people an idea whether your phone is charging more now.

how unfortunate of you. Luckily mine came a long way from USA to New Zealand. And no there is no problems at all despite the lose metal frame at the bottom.

Better than me, not only did they show no record of my complaint (ie, they claim what I told them was wrong was "UNKNOWN"), but they did nothing but reflash to "fix" the issue. I called multiple times and had the representatives recite back to me what was wrong, so they have multiple records of me complaining about the sound issue.

You will also notice that, unlike your letter, this one doesn't explicity state that they did a software reset, though they did flash my device to the original release firmware.
