guys, in the internet setting, you can choose "Any connection", i wonder what it means, does it mean if there is only a open wifi, and N900 will connect to it automatically even it is not a "saved" connection?

Many thanks

I'll add also a question, is USB-networking and Bluetooth bnep-networking included in this "any connection"?
I mean, if Internet routing is through USB/BT and not to cellular network.

No, in default installation the icd (internet connection daemon) will only connect to a saved IAP (internet access point). It is possible to create a service plugin to icd which can change this (the icd could then connect to any open wlan).

Any connections means wifi/3G, but as stated above it only connects to saved connections

In default installation the answer is no as there is no icd network plugin for these bearers. The auto connectability for each bearer is determined by corresponding icd network plugin.
For USB there is libicd-network-usb plugin in extras-devel (see sources at http://maemo.gitorious.org/icd2-netw...cd-network-usb)

many thanks
