Just a quick demo of my n900 plugged into my 2006 Acura TL. Used a universal video to nav unit and tapped into my XM tuner for audio and Navigation system. Sound is way better than the fmtx even though I had long wired running from the back of the vehicle where the system is located. More later.

Sygic. Works out for me since the 2006 Navigation doesn't work in Hawaii.

get the acura's touchscreen to control the n900, then it will be worth it. otherwise any car dash screen could do this.

Wow amazing!! Do you think you can tell me how you did it? I have a 2007 Acura RDX w/tech package (nav) so I am really interested in this!!

Thanks in advance!

Considering my Acura oem navigation doesn't work in Hawaii and the fact that it only cost me $250 for all the parts and cables...seems worth it to me.

Check out autotoys.com for the video to nav adapter. It comes with zero directions in the kit and the online info is wrong so be careful. lol.

It does have aussie maps if you go to the dark side of web.
You can still purchase the app from Sygic to support them.
