@metalx: I am unable to find any instructions on how to compile or install the x2x program. Any howto's you could point a simple person like me to?

just on the desktop. I am using ubuntu 10.04 beta. I will try a search from my 9.10 when I get home to see if it's there. Thanks!
ssh -X user@ipaddress 'x2x -south -from :0.0'

Once installed on you desktop ('sudo aptitude install x2x') then use this command from your N900:
This will allow you to then move your cursor down off the bottom of your desktop's screen and on to the N900. The cursor will still be invisible on the N900 (There are ways to make it visible if needed) but your keyboard will now control your N900 as long as the mouse cursor over it.Code:ssh -X user@ipaddress 'x2x -south -from :0.0'
Also make sure you have sshd on you Desktop so that you can connect.
Let me know if you have any trouble with this.
Should work on the N8x0 as well.
Hope this helps some people.

Don't give Microsoft the remote control. Don't use Windows 7. <http://windows7sins.org>
