Yep, I tried that earlier as well and found that the two running together and top of each other were off by a second or so.
Hey shin, a few questions.
Is it possible to not display all the parts with SVG Clock? I wanted to try to just have the clock hands displayed only as to try something different. When I deleted the other graphics though, your clock won't load.
Also, any possible way to change the ring coloring for your new clock? It looks as though there are 3 different shades of gray that can't be edited. I was hoping to make them different shades of black and I'm sure LABAUDIO will want them to be weirdo mucus green borg colors as well. :*lol*
Lastly, in
/usr/lib/ringlock/prefs.glade
what line can I edit to make it so that a single click will launch your alarm clock instead of a double one?
By the way, install was breeze. I'm actually digging on the strange readout and style of your ring clock.
Very trippy dude!

The clock reminds me of a giant, bruised cervix inside a coslopus. Ugh...
Hey, how can I make a blank.svg file? Could you post that here so I can use it?

On the other hand PyQT for Diablo seems to be available now, but as attilla noted in this thread, it has a size issue and it would not help the folks who have not cloned their OS to a mmc card.. Considering this and that the PyGTK route works both from a utility and performance perspective, I think I will stick to the current implementation. As such mikec is working on the PyQT version of the clock and it seem to be working fine.. Once we have a framework for having it as a desktop widget, it should be good..
Now coming to the problem of some of the SVG themes in Gnome-look.org not working on the SVGClock, I will see if I can tweak the scaling of the SVGs in my code to accomodate them...
But I hope you would appreciate the fact that except for a few themes that dont work ( specifically Kuduk's themes, which seem to be of different dimensions), we have more than a 100 clock themes from the gnome-look site that work well on diablo for the SVGClock
