with the number of models that nokia has, i am sure they release new firmwares all the time. Should the n900 get a firmware update everytime some other phone does?

My partner has an Xpressmusic 5800 there has only been one update?
N900 was released in December 2009 was in february(?) 2010 an update was released (3 months later)?
The 1.2 update is due soon (April/May?).
Oh and the NEW FREAKIN OPERATING SYSTEM known as MeeGo - v1.0 due in May.
The N900 is shaking its booty and waving its willy in your face
