It would make testing much faster.
Now I use games for testing, but that makes the workflow time consuming (games takes time to load).

The problem is, that when you tap the screen both click and mouse move are registered. So emulator first clicks in the previous mouse position, then moves the mouse to new position.

I was thinking all evening and morning how to overcome this and came up with a solution - delay click until mouse is static again, or warp the mouse immediately (which in turn could make apps crazy).

Your solution is brilliant. I will disable the touch screen clicks completely, and use volume buttons for left and right mouse buttons.

What exactly do you mean by "mouse touch input"?
Joystick emulation using mouse moves? Is it really needed when we have keyboard joystick emulation in place?

new release is a big improvement - and having this emulator close to usable is amazing. Below is what I have found:

4 issues identified:
1: FN modified keys are not recognized at all (verified with flashback startup where there is a key combo that has to be entered)
2: w an z keys are switched for some reason. All other keys are correct (verified as above)
3: Mouse always activates a left click when screen is touched. So when a game switches screen, the cursor stays put, and when you try to activate something on the new screen, the mouse registers a click at the "old" position.
4: Some games requires continuous fire and direction buttons to be pressed. This does not work, only 1 key press is registered "per key press".

I thing this would be great, and feel quite natural. I just hope other users will not nag about losing quick volume control.

Does this emulator support Sixaxis (or even better, two Sixaxis for multiplayer) control for emulating joystick?

Joystick device should be supported, but I haven't get to testing it yet.

Using volume buttons for mouse left and right would clash with volume settings wouldn't it?

also

Don't you think it is a little fiddly?

And i have tried kick off 2 and there is no left, right function in the main menu.
