Yes but I imagine that is a small photo frame; I want it for the wallpaper on each desktop

In other words, he wants to set the background as a slideshow, I think it's a feature in Windows 7.

It is a feature in Windows 7. So the solution would be: Install Windows 7 on your N900.

Considering that we already got live wallpaper and Nokia supported live wallpaper in next update i wouldn't think it's too hard to do?

Yes, thats exactly what Id like to do But if they just change from one to another without being a slideshow, I guess that would be OK as well

Exactly; Im thinking it would actually be possible with a cron job but not sure how to implant it exactly.
