* "kernel-settings list/save" to show or save the current settings
the kernel will change 600->599MHz and continue to ignore telephone app's request to downclock to 600.
this is hopefully the last set of noticeable changes.
Then it's up to GUI apps to modify the configuration file.

the v25 kernel does already support the "avoid frequencies" setting

with this you can, for example, activate only the freqs 125 500 850
or every other subset. could be please test this new feature?

titan,

I am using v25 kernel and ideal setting to overclock to 900Mhz, and also I use the avoid feature of this kernel, i avoid 125 250 Mhz freqs, it works, after phone call, the cpu freq will not reset to 250Mhz, the min freqs is still 500Mhz.

thanks again.

How far do you come in the boot process? Do you see the loading dot's. Do you see the led light up? Or are it just black with no life signs?

Things are getting a bit complicated...
You probably missed the step to install kernel-power-settings.. try that.
