Hi eve1 .. i m very new to this maemo OS .. i bought a n900 three dayz back and i m missing some very basic functions in it. I have tried updating it via nokia software update and now my n900 shows in CP version 3.2010.03-8.003 but still i face some problems like i cannot use codes it gives me the wrong number notification. Moreover, i have tried installing softwares from garage.maemo.org and i get some error like some packages missing?? .. Aahh help needed .. thanx in advance.

P.S i came across some updates via flasher and something like that i m very new to this system. I need some very basic helps regarding updating my firmware.

You are up to date regarding firmware.

You shouldn't use Garage at this stage of your career; stick to App Manager.

Read the Wiki for information about adding Repositories.

For USSD info, click Power Search toward the top right column and you should be able to find lots of information.

All you need to know is don't use garage.maemo.org to install things. Only use app manager.

3.2010.02-8.003 is the latest public version of the firmware.
Support for USSD codes will be in the next public update.
