Also: the Flash implementation on the 770 doesn't support .FLV anyway - which is why Youtube and Google Video do not work.
Thanks for the information ThoughtFix, BTW I think Serge recently stated that Nokia 770 mplayer, supports Flash Video playback so their may be ultimately be a way to get RedKawa Wii Server to work on Linux/MAC PC's with the Nokia 770?

Personally, I am interested in TVersity as my main server as I am relaxed about using an OS from any Supplier including MS, but then you already knew that.

---edit--- BTW Will be trying new version of Orb if we ever get home (writing this in Bordeaux Airport France on Nokia 770, where flights to Madrid have been cancelled due to alleged ETA bomb in Madrid T4 car park. At least they provide free Wi-Fi in Bordeaux airport!)

But I am having problems playing media with 770 it trys to open all files with the video player... Also the videos when they open with video player I get unsuported format?!?
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I am having this same problem and have not been able to find a solution using search. All files launch in video player, and say "file format is not supported," then never play. I have chosen to stream in Real Player, set bitrate to 96K, and hav installed Real Alternative on the computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having a similar problem. I know Orb works fine, I can stream music and movies from another computer just fine, but I keep getting 'file format not supported' and 'file not found' messages when I try to play the .rm file.

http://forums.orb.com/viewtopic.php?t=5374
started to follow through but did run out of time. did not figure out yet how to "use only FFDSHOW for video decoding"
hopefully it will help. will keep you posted.

I'm trying to get this to work as well, but I am having issues just getting anything to work. Should the 770 be trying to open the sdp files? When it does, it loads up the video player and gives the format not supported error.

Thanks

I got audio working, yay... now video. I get 'Playback Error' with youtube. Looks like it was zonealarm.

I am pretty impressed with Orb and the 770.

my settings working for Orb and youtube are:
an old 733 MHz vectra with Orb 2.0. XP Codecs installed, streaming through 54G AP, Orb streaming speed set at 770 to 120 kbs. I tried first with ffdshow and real alternative with no luck so I unistalled them.
