you have enough to put it there, its up to you. I reckon you get a small speed increase by having it on the internal card, maybe even a a minute more of your battery also (seriously not anything worth mentioning)

up to you, either way is fine, dont be afraid to put it on your sd card.

@siggin Ubuntu netbook editions desktop environment would be great. The above thread is about different DEs using easy debian. it should be possible but I installed xfce and it worked fine but broke my fn key in LXDE. Had to reinstall the image, was hoping qole could explain what the remedy is if this happens since I haven't a clue.

No I haven't, but you can, just download and expand the Ubuntu image and try installing the UNR packages.
