Way back when it was started, it was an estimate on how long it would be before PR1.2 was released.

Well I gave up the idea of PR 1.2.
Now I use N900 only to make phone calls and once in a while listen to some music without any sound adjustments [no equalizer].
Can't understand why Nokia hold next upgrade.
