Definitely appreciate the help! i tried what was put in the wiki but for some reason it keeps giving me errors =/. I try swapping the numbers if one doesnt work and i have tried rude and havoc. it was weird though because towards the end of the day someone sent me an mms i think. I tried opening it because it looked like a text message at first and then it went straight to fmms and it was trying to open but then it gave me an error saying failed to download mms or something like that. I was definitely excited for a moment.

PHASE315 what where your settings for fmms when it was working bro? BTW did you put a +1 in front of your phone number? i did but i wasnt sure if this effects anything >.<.

Anyone else have this problem? Also which size equals 300 like the wiki? Small, Medium, Large or Original? I am assuming that original is definitely not it. But then again someone said it resizes automatically right? i am not really sure.

Given the settings on the wiki, would it be possible for operators to send configurations directly to the phone, like they do with other phone models? Or does the n900 not have any way of dealing with that information?

Ok i got it to work now. Thanks everyone. I do want to mention to everyone using USA T-Mobile that is also struggling, the way i got mine to work was actually simple. I know that in the wiki it tells you to put "YES" for some reason and i always thought that was weird. I didnt do anything at first since i wanted to follow the wiki but then i said "you know what that yes looks weird" so i took it out and left it blank and BAM! it worked. However although i can send and receive mms through either of the three modes (polite, rude and havoc) Havoc is the only one that actually lets me download the mms. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. Other than that everything works fine including small, medium and large options but i still have to try original.

Thanks again for the help and i hope my info helps others too and may make it easier to use other modes. BTW when i cleared yes the port number cleared by itself and it continues to work since last night.

OK, I'm new to the N900, new to these forums, and terrified to download anything in case I get stuck and can't sort it out,,which is entirely possible.
I was completely stunned when I discovered that the N900 didn't include MMS...I hadn't even considered that it might not...
many people I know don't have the most modern phone, don't have email and certainly couldn't use it on their phone anyway.
Is there anyone in Norfolk UK, on Vodafone, who would be prepared to assist in case I foul up?

Where is fAPN? I don't see it listed in my installed applications.
