But I agree, AWESOME.

I only dare to suggest one improvement: the buttons "on" and "off" for each flash could be unified in only two "switch" buttons, "red flash status" and "main flash status"
And please, we need this at repos!
Great.
Well if you look at any purpose camera that has image capturing + timer, it has a red led that counts down the timer so people know when to smile.
This can also be configurable, Like a little checkbutton with a default of off or something in the same step that you choose the timer.

I've tried everything and it seems to install but doesn't work when I open the lens cover. I typed this "python /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/lfocuswi.py" in xterminal and I get:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/lfocuswi.py", line 1, in <module>
import gtk, pygtk, os,sys,time,math,hildon,hildondesktop.dbus,gobject
ImportError: No module named hildon

look if the problem is gone after installing python-hildon
as root:
apt-get install python-hildon

Seems to work but get the error message

Errors were encountered while processing:
libflac8
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

And the app is still not in the status bar when camera is open.

Also i want to say that this app seems to have gone a long way! i am excited to hear everything it can do now and thats just with a camera! sooo crazy to me seriously. Anyway has this reached Extras Testing? and does anyone know if it will ever make it to MAEMO Extras? I'm assuming it would be fully optified then but i just wanted to check first.

I don't mind Testing but Devel is definitely the Devil sometimes lol. Very very nice and amazing work BTW! hats down to you all that are helping.

When I want to record a video with the LED's on they turn off when the camera focuses. Then during recording I have to turn it on again.
Is this behavior normal?
If yes, can it be "fixed" so that the LED stays on when you actually begin recording a video?
