Thanks. Will try this soon. What exactly is the "3rd step" in the link of instructions you posted? They don't seem to be listed
I meant from here http://browser.garage.maemo.org/news/12/

1. Press on "Preferences" button in "Adblock Plus 1.1.1" row.

2.Unfortunately XUL Popup menus does not work in MicroB, and we cannot get "Filters->Add Filter Subscription" menu Item.

3. I hope someone can fix this problem in future, or write Mobile version of AdBlockPlus extension (with big buttons, and tabs).

4. Right now we can subscribe to some filters in this way: Press "CTRL+N" shortcut or open "New window" via Application Menu.

5. Type in the URL bar the following url: "chrome://adblockplus/content/ui/tip_subscriptions.xul"

6. Select the filter from the list and Tap "Subscribe" button: Window should be closed automatically, and you will see again "Preferences" window with added filter:

7. Wait until subscription list is fully downloaded

Thanks! I've got Addblock Plus finally installed.

But I can't add some lists. When I opened the url "chrome://adblockplus/content/ui/tip_subscriptions.xul" nothing happened. MicroB can't load the page.

When i deleted everything in home/user/.mozila/microb/extensions i got rid of the ovi login update problem also, i suppose everything will be installed again if there is some plugin missing.

At the old situation it would not update and gave me error.

btw. people are giving me credit but i made a sum up of different work arrounds posted by other people.

That's odd , I never had any problems with Ovi login

dont worry mate I've also summed up different works including yours I hope we can create some sort of FAQ one day and write simplified solutions to most common problems and tweaks so it will be easier for average user to understand

you shouldn't delete any of those then
you can always google the classid to see what it is, if you're lucky you'll get a hit.

I think the adblock one that you SHOULD delete is d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d

You might also see an adblockplus folder under microb - i would delete that too if you're having problems reinstalling. I am anyways...

you're not following the right instructions, you shouldn't be clicking restart and expecting anything to happen. the correct instructions say something about opening a console and using the killall command. please double check what you're doing. they are posted above...
