Afternoon All,

Decided to go to the CarPhoneWareHouse, and give the guys there an old bollocking, my phones battery is just getting worst, I know is no news on that side of things.

Whoever I'm on a 24th Month Contract and T-Mobile wont care or replace my handset, or my original provider CarPhoneWareHouse, so I'm between the wall and the sword.

After giving the guys there some mouth, how I felt betrayed by my consumer rights, the guy mentioned that Nokia is going to release a new battery is there any one aware of this.

Also could I take further action via the Trading Standards? Against Nokia, or CarPhoneWareHouse or T-Mobile.

What is the point of having a phone with all this functionality but i cannot uset it?

Regards

I have not heard of such a new-type of battery. The technology used for the batteries of Nokia is based on lithium and is pretty much developed to the end: The laws of physics prevent them from being any more "energetic per mass".

If I remember correctly, every single battery of Nokia has automatically a warranty of six months from the date of purchase. If the battery goes bad before that it has been defective...

Note that new original batteries on Amazon can be very cheap, so buying two (for maximum autonomy) new ones should not be a problem.

Yes but look very carefully at which batteries you buy. Amazon sells original and "Other" supplier batteries that work on the N900. Read the reviews if you have any doubts.
