If you have installed the older versions from extras you need to look at
the corresponding instructions http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power#C...from_extras.29

I was running V27 and I just tried to deinstall the kernel so I could update OTA, using:

Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel kernel-flasher

apt-get remove -y kernel-power kernel-power-modules
It looked to have worked but when I shut down, my N900 wouldn't reboot and so I'm now in the process of flashing it with the new PR1.2.

The same thing happened to me last time when I clicked on the Deinstall button from the menu, and so it may be a problem with my device that doesn't allow it to deinstall Titan's kernel properly.

We'll see what happens when I come round to deinstalling V34 in future!

Can you tell me what should I do to overclock my n900 after I have flashed with brand new PR1.2 image?
Previously I have had my n900 overclocked using the first 900mhz kernel (flashed by flasher) but I suppose that now there are better ways to overclock.

What method should I take?

I would have the same guestion. I was one of the first to jump in and use kernels made by Lehto.
Kind of hard currently to get image of what's the way to go now in this huge thread.

Another oc noob here, on pr 1.1 i OC'd to 800mhz but i dont remember which kernel.

Now I'm trying to use the kernel-power-settings from Extras and I go to X-term and as Root I type

"/usr/sbin/kernel-load /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal"

but it says kernel load: not found

Can someone explain to me why this is happening.
