After I updated to pr1.2 I realize that the earphone with mic bug is still there. It seems that nokia has not fix the head/earphone bug. When I insert an earphone with a mic attach to the earphone into the jack, the phone does not recognize that there is an earphone. It works fine with a regular earphone (no mic). PR1.2 what a let down!!!! phone seems to work faster.

do you have a bugzilla link with your problem being worked on?

The supplied headphone + mic (Nokia Stereo Headset (WH-205)) work fine in all versions of the firmware. Are you using a third-party headset+mic? What brand/model?

I'm positive that the problem is in the hardware

Im using the provided by nokia, I also try it out with third part headset. No Luck.

Well it sure as heck didn't fix the problem of every damn person with an issue starting a new thread instead of using one of the already active ones.

Guess we will have to wait for 1.3 for that.

PR 1.2 "Smooth just like the silka..."
Of course it still has some bugs but it's an inprovement over the previous version...

Maybe you phone has the third conact broken.

Maybe you should check for your hardware support center for that

By the way, i found out that Qstardict cannot be used because it can't set the dictionary files destination... and the search option is gone from the apps manager, making it hard to search for an app.
