Thank you NSU for not bricking my N900 this go 'round.

I downloaded the command line flasher and the appropriate files in case NSU pulled a repeat of the stunt it pulled last time I tried to update the N900 using NSU. This time - no issues at all! Like altorn, I too had about 35MB in my rootfs at the time I flashed it.

Now my applications are reinstalling from my backup and soon I will get to experience the wonderfulness that is supposed to be 1.2.

I've seen the growing bug list. It's fun being on the bleeding edge because when you come out with no spatters it feels so good. When you do get spattered it becomes an interesting puzzle to solve. Sudoku's got nothing on the N900 when it comes to puzzles! The big plus is that when the puzzle is resolved the device works better or does something new. This is why I got the N900. - excitement and challenges. If I all I wanted out of my phone was to make a phone call I'd use the 5800 XpressMusic.

Maybe you should use flasher to install the new firmware, it's relatively painless as long as you are careful.

Where in CT are you? Here in Fairfield County, T-mobile turned on HSDPA+ a few weeks ago out of the blue and without fanfare. It is blazing fast (for T-mobile, anyway).
