Just had a similar problem here in Egypt. After the packet connection was working for a while and I tried to fetch some MMS with fMMS, I do not connect at all to the packet connection (fails), and I find it more tricky sometimes to even connect to wireless connections! I think it has something to do with fMMS.\

Edit: My exact problem now is this. After using fMMS once in PR 1.2, my packet data connection NEVER connects. It fails after trying for 2 seconds! It was fine before that. Any tips? I'm in Egypt on Mobinil Network.

I used to had this problem too especially when your ISP's 3G access point and its MMS access point are not the same (DiGi for me in Malaysia). The workaround I had was to install 'Connectnow' and 'Personal IP' and always see which access point I am connected to.

Of course you could always see this info by clicking on the status bar and see what is your Internet connection but I find having the info on the desktop is much more easier :-).

Wireless was another issue I had but on very rare cases, I couldn't connect to a wireless access point (and I though only the iPhone has this issue :-))

Thanks! But I mean, when fMMS tries to connect you can actually see the connection it is trying to establish. But here, I see no connection being established and I can't connect to the internet at all, 2g or 3g. Just "fails" after 2 seconds. We will see Thanks again
