That's what I am still getting as well.
I tried to contact Nokia using their web mail format (I could not find a "real" email address) but it seems the page freezes the moment I hit "submit" (or whatever word it uses).
Either Nokia is not getting my message, or is ignoring me.
I suspect that if the programs and hardware were fully compatible, items like "notes" would appear in the menu.
So, I guess, we wait for a version of PC Suite which is compatible with the N900...........

Yeah, you would think that peace of expensive hardware like N900 would have great software support.....Go figure.
By the way is there any way that we can install new software gadgets, widgets and etc....

Does anyone knows the email for N900 support?

Thanks everyone for help on this topic...

OPPS....IM LATE BUT I GOT THE SOLUTION FOR THIS PROB AND ITS VERY VERY SIMPLE TRUST ME...here it goes..... read on.....:

1) Connect ur Nokia N900 with ur usb cable first and SELECT [PC SUIT MODE] from N900.

2) Now u need to activate the N900 PC SUIT MODE ON UR PC....SO Right click on MY COMPUTER > select MANAGE > select DEVICE MANAGER > (on the right hand side screen) select NOKIA N900 under WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE > OPEN IT....AND select ENABLE

NOW ITS DONE... it will install the required pc drivers and aft a few mins ur PC SUIT WILL WORK 1000%

You can browse OVI store on you N900 and download direct or you can choose items in "App Manager" No need to connect to a PC to install anything, except maybe to flash the firmware.

Have you read the user guide? There is a section on update and install applications.

Switch over to WiFi and use the application manager. Manually installing .deb files is an exercise in problem-creating.
