Some of mine that I have used:
I haven't yet gone to the lengths of changing icons and fonts etc as yet, but I will do some time.

I like to have frequently needed shortcuts quickly available behind the power button:
The "<Servername>" button opens an SSH connection to a server I use for IM, personal e-mail etc, others should be self-explanatory. Not wasting space with power down or lock screen buttons.
Edit: For more information about configuring the power menu, I created a new thread "Instructions: Configuring the power button menu".
One pic I have to include, even if it's just an app
One of my all-time favorites (where the nick comes from btw) now pocketable. Works fine, with local and remote server. Just need a bit more tuning of the keymap, not easy to control two dozen keys with just thumbs. Will try to get it controlled by tilting the device, would allow much more accuracy and speed. Installed from Debian repositories using Easy Debian chroot.
