Slight correction; I'm the guy that wrote msn-pecan (most of it), but I also wrote the one used by haze (most of it).
So I know both code bases and I can tell you there's a reason I forked msn-pecan Besides, I own an N900 I can fix issues directly. Not to mention that I actually work in Nokia, so I know now to program for the N900
