I usually change my user agent with Hide User Agent, a nice app in Extras Testing. Working in PR 1.2.
If you want to give it a try:

Don't be scared about its rejection from testing, it works beautifully but people don't like the fact that you can't access OVI Store when user agent is customized.

If you don't close MicroB, the user agent change works fine. Since PR1.1, they apparently made useragent changes not persistent. So if you close MicroB, your user agnet will go back to default, but if you change it and then just go to the webpage you want from the about:config window, you'll be good.

Google have decided to do a Facebook and force users to the crap mobile version of Gmail. Any ideas?
